Apps

Tools that start with real annoyance and end up solving real problems.

Gelmet apps are not random side quests. They come from workflow pain, production pressure, and those moments where you look at a process and think, there has to be a better way.

Current lineup

Right now, the first wave is focused on live production.

These first apps are both built around the same idea: if people already have useful gear, the software should help them get more out of it instead of forcing them into a giant technical leap.

Spot Projector

Turn a projector into a practical follow spot solution for rooms that need something simpler and more accessible.

Active build
Platform: iPhone + iPad Audience: schools, churches, community theaters Focus: fast setup and operator clarity

Spot Projector is for venues that need a spotlight effect without buying, storing, or staffing a traditional follow spot. The whole point is to make setup, testing, and live use feel clear enough that normal humans can walk up and use it.

SpotMover

A follow spot rethink for moving fixtures, built to make powerful lights feel more understandable in standalone use.

TestFlight
Platform: iOS + Mac path Audience: venues with movers, installs, production teams Focus: follow spot logic over lighting-console complexity

SpotMover is about meeting venues where they are. If they already own a capable fixture, the software should help them get useful follow-spot-style control out of it without expecting every operator to think like a lighting programmer.

What makes these different

Built from real venue constraints.

These apps are not built from a blank-sheet startup pitch. They come from real questions about budgets, staffing, room limitations, operator confidence, and gear people already have sitting there.

What is next

More organizational tools are coming.

Gelmet is also moving toward camp, school, and team organization tools. Those are still taking shape, but the direction is the same: clearer systems, simpler interfaces, and less wasted energy.

Need something specific?

Some problems want an app. Some need a person.

If one of these tools is close to what you need but not quite there yet, I also do consulting, workflow design, and practical implementation help.
